Herb Compote Butter
Makes 1/2 lb. butter
Take 2 sticks softened salted butter and mash in a bowl with 2 tablespoons fresh chopped herbs (such as tarragon, mint, parsley, or basil) and 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese. When well combined, place in a dish and sprinkle with finishing salt, such as Maldon.
