Nutty Granola Apple Bites

Nutty Granola Apple Bites
Serves 1-2

This snack screams, “Afterschool!” to us and it’s easy to see why. Better yet, it equally doubles as a breakfast. If apples aren’t your favorite fruits (or something else is in season!), easily swap out this method and use stone fruit (such as peaches or plums) or pears.

1 apple, such as granny smith or pink lady
1 lemon, halved
½ cup Nature’s Path No Added Sugar Mixed Berry Granola
½ cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Cut an apple in half lengthways and then again lengthways, creating four wedges. Using a melon baller or teaspoon measure, scoop out seeds within each wedge and create a bit more of a cup. Fill cup with granola and place on a plate.

Add chips to a microwave-safe bowl and microwaves for 30-second increments in a microwave, stirring well after each increment, until chocolate is smooth and melted. Drizzle over apple bites and serve.
